New product release – Climate change inspired Board Game
Save Us Or Die!
Save Us Or Die is a revolutionary board game set to be released in the near future, using competition and fun through the known and loved medium of board games to educate players on the ever important subject of climate change.
Save Us Or Die is a question and answer based game where progress is determined on the players knowledge of climate change. This inventive way of broaching a topic as serious as climate change Is both engaging and accessible to everyone.
The board is split up into four different sections called ‘settlements’ the premise of the game is that due to climate catastrophes these settlements are no longer habitable, and the citizens need to evacuate to the safe zone located in the middle of the board. Players must correctly answer question cards in order to collect counters to bridge to the middle, leading their citizens to safety. With the added possibility of picking up a chance card, which can be either advantageous or detrimental to the player.
Emily Greenwood, one of the creators of Save Us Or Die said “while climate change is becoming a much more widely debated topic, there are still those left either uninterested or plain confused. Through the accessibility of this game we hope to open an easy dialogue about a difficult subject”
